Unjunking Halloween with UnReal Candy
I love candy. I especially love chocolate candy. And when I had the opportunity to try UnReal candy for the first time a few months ago, I was excited. Why would I be so excited? Because UnReal candy is REAL. A bit of an oxymoron, I know. Let me explain.
UnReal candy has:
No Artificials
No Hydrogenateds
No Corn Syrups
No Preservatives
No GMOs
That’s right. Everything in the candy is real. Real chocolate. Real caramel. Real food coloring. Real sugar.
With an elementary school kid, a baby, and one on the way, I’m searching for every way I can possibly unjunk my house. It’s a bummer to think that in order to eat in a healthier way, you would have to give up candy. Lucky for me and my sweet tooth, there’s UnReal.
On an even luckier note, I had the chance to host an UnReal Unjunk Halloween party to share the good news and the products with my friends.
UnReal sent me a box full of the good stuff complete with treat bags for everyone in attendance.
Aaron and I had already planned to go to the Bank of America 500, so I decided that was a perfect place — and an unlikely audience — to share the candy. When I told everyone I had candy with me, their ears perked up. Then, I began to hand it out.
“Oh my gosh! This is so good!”
“Really! This doesn’t taste any different!”
“And it’s real?”
Roger and I had a conversation about his son who has autism. Roger and his wife have been trying for years to consciously find foods that were free of processed and hydrogenated ingredients. As he looked at the ingredient list for UnReal, he was really excited. The best part, he said, was that the natural ingredients of UnReal wouldn’t conflict with his son’s medications.
Each person came back for more. The most popular was UnReal 77 – the chocolate peanut butter cup. I had more requests for seconds of that than any other type. That was ok with me, as my favorite is UnReal 54– the candy coated chocolate with peanuts.
We ended the party by playing some ladder ball. Then, everyone received their treat bag full of candy (and I took mine in with me to the race!).
