Cheap & Easy Halloween Makeup Tutorial: Undead!
Our house loves Halloween. I’m almost embarrassed to say that we count down to it much like we count down to Christmas. (I promise that this year, we’re going to really talk about the meaning of Christmas with the littles!)
With the excitement comes decorations. We’ve already set up our Halloween mantle again, and our Halloween tree is ready to go on the porch.
We also love dressing up. Our first Halloween together, Math Man and I dressed as Jack and Jill – complete with broken heads and bruised faces. Math Man even used an old, fake bone and made it look like his shoulder had not only popped out of socket but out of the skin as well. Ew.
Since then, we’ve been pirates. We’ve been a baker and an oven (that’s how we announced our news about expecting the Animal). Last year, we were super heroes.
Every year, Miss Sassy Pants tries to out do the year before. Last week, she came out with funky lips that made her look like what she considered Elsa from Frozen. I thought they looked more like a zombie’s lips. That inspired us to look at the makeup we had on hand to create a zombie-like look.
Watch as Miss Sassy Pants uses the shadows, lip glosses, and other items we already have on hand to give me a Halloween makeup makeover!
What ways do you use what you have on hand for Halloween costumes?
Come see more from my Blog with Friends buddies.
Stacy from Stacy Sews and Schools makes a scary Halloween pillow cover! My boys would love to have Halloween on their pillows!
Someone Else’s Genius brings us a scary story just in time for Halloween! Brace yourself! This one seems spooky!
Baking in a Tornado has an awesome Billy the Puppet cake. If I wasn’t so freaked out by this character, I’d make on myself!
Rabia from The Lieber Family has amazing Trick or Treat bags that you can make yourself. What a smart idea! My kids would love to make these and personalize for themselves!

Fun! My kids would have a blast with this. They love to mix and match all of our dress up clothes to create new costumes. I’m not sure what we’re going to be for Halloween this year, though. We should probably get on that!
You have a few weeks. 🙂
Miss Sassy Pants has quite a future in the movie make-up industry! Love the video and I especially love that you use make up we all have on hand, we don’t have to go out and buy anything special.
Honestly, I’ve done it before and never been happy!
