#Snackation Here We Come
My boys – the Animal (4) and Flash (2) – have one final week of summer left before they start this fall’s preschool. The Animal is really excited to return and be in the BIG 4 year old class, and Flash is excited to start for the first time ever and take his Minion backpack (he’s even already packed it for the first day).
While Math Man and Miss Sassy Pants are in their second week of school, I’m going to have one last exciting week with our boys (and Miss Baby Diva, of course) and plan some really fun activities.
A last fun week of summer wouldn’t be complete without awesome snacks, so we made the trip today to WalMart to stock up on some items that are sure to make our final week that much more memorable. I partnered with the J.M. Smucker company for this post. Bring on the Snackation!
Backtrack to our trip to the beach a few weeks ago. We made the very bad decision to not take many groceries with us. Luckily, we were able to slip down to a local store to buy a few items. I found Jif’s Peanut Butter to Go and ended up paying an arm and a leg (thanks a lot beach convenience store). The boys definitely loved them (they like dipping things), so I knew today that making sure I had more on hand for this week would be really great.
Thank goodness for WalMart’s prices. I was able to get two packs for a crazy low price.
I also wanted to try out Jif’s new Whips. MathMan chose the chocolate peanut butter. Can’t wait to put these on honey grahams, and I think our boys will enjoy making their “cracker sandwiches” with them, too!
Probably my favorite purchase is the Chocolate Hazelnut spread from Jif. I am a sucker for hazelnut spread, so I was excited to see this amazing price. I think we’ll have a few adventures with pretzels, too!
Be sure to come back and see what the boys and I get into!
