Sip & Savor House Party

Sip & Savor House Party

I grew up in a house with parents who drank coffee. Every morning, I woke up to the delicious smell of that coffee brewing.

But every time I tried to drink it, I was totally grossed out. I just couldn’t stand the taste.

Moving out of my parents’ house meant missing out on that fresh-brewed coffee smell every morning, and it wasn’t until I married Aaron and he was in the house every morning that I was treated to one of my most favorite nostalgic aromas.

Watching Aaron drink his coffee made me feel like I needed to buck up and become an adult. I needed to learn to like coffee, too (silly, I know).

Through trial and error, I learned that I like my coffee like my dad — black with sugar.

A morning cup of coffee (decaf, but that’s beside the point) with my eggs and toast quickly became one of my favorite treats, and I feel like such a big girl.

So, when I was chosen to host a House Party for Caza Trail & Grove Square coffees, I was excited to play with the big kids.

We received several boxes of K-cups (coffee, cappuccino, and hot chocolate), some napkins, an apron, and some coffee-flavored chapsticks for our guests.

I invited friends and family to come for a chili and coffee fellowship, and we had a bunch of fun. We sat around and chatted, brewed our coffee or hot chocolate, and really enjoyed the two types of chili I had made for the quite brisk afternoon.

To make things even more fun, I included a drawing for two coffee-themed prizes of a coffee mug and mint candies (go figure, both of Aaron’s parents won them — at least they have matching mugs!).

The Caza Trail & Grove Square coffees and hot chocolates were really tasty. Everyone enjoyed trying them, and Miss Sassy Pants and her friend felt like real grown ups drinking their hot chocolate right out of an “adult” coffee cup.

I highly recommend the Caza Trail & Grove Square line of coffees. You can find them on Amazon for a decent price, and they’re even Prime eligible!
