Shop and Learn Cash Register (Review)
The Animal (3) loves numbers. He loves them so much that rather than drawing a picture, he writes 1-10 over and over and over and . . . you get the point. He also loves colors and shapes, and recently has begun “shopping” around the house counting items and putting them in our toy shopping cart.
When the Shop and Learn Cash Register arrived for him to use and play with, it was a big hit. He loved the huge numbers and the different color coins. He was immediately drawn to scanning the food items (there are five: broccoli, apple, cheese, grapes, and carrots) and trying to use the credit card.
The Shop and Learn Cash Register has three settings. One just allows the child to play and push buttons. Another prompts the child to find a specific food item and scan it. All three settings allow for great imaginary play for the Animal and his big sister. Even Flash has had fun putting the coins in and carting the food around in our shopping cart.
See the Shop and Learn Cash Register in action in the video Miss Sassy Pants made (you’ll even see the Animal playing with it).
