RESCUE: A Natural Way to Relieve Stress
I’m pregnant, have three kids already, work three jobs from my hallway in the house where everyone can interrupt me, and have had a total of two date nights in the last six months: I’m a little stressed out.
Day to day activities leave me exhausted or even anxious about what I can accomplish the next day. My to-do list never ends, and I have to rip myself away from the computer so I can just stop staring at a screen for a few minutes.
Because of my status as a largely pregnant mom, I have also found that my regular exercise routine is non-existent. Once my back started hurting (and that was weeks ago), I stopped even thinking about the 5ks I had planned to complete while pregnant. I just had to come to terms with the fact that following the toddlers around the house or the occasional jaunt to the post office or around the perimeter of the grocery store was going to have to suffice.
Without my regular workout, I’ve felt the stress building. And although I could totally blame it on hormones, there have been multiple times where I just felt the world was going to collapse and I simply needed to cry.
When I learned about RESCUE, I was entranced. A natural way to provide stress relief for my too-busy-and-too-stressed self? Yes, please!
I did a little research on the RESCUE Pastilles because I’m cautious about the products I put into or onto my body — especially while waiting for Miss Diva to arrive.
I chose to purchase the black currant flavor. The packaging describes the pastilles as a “chewy pastille lozenge.” Active ingredients include Helianthemum nummularium (for courage and presence of mind), Clematis vitalba (for focus when ungrounded), Impatiens glandulifera (for patience with problems and people), Prunus cerasifera (for balanced mind when losing control), and Ornithogalum umbellatum (for softening the impact of shock). It’s like the makers of the pastilles were watching me through some sort of omnipotent lens and knew exactly what I needed to make it through the day.
The Pastilles are not only tasty, but are were effective. I found that using them did help lower my anxiety about making it through the day. My children and my husband (and my jobs, really) are amazing. I’m so blessed to have all of these things in my life – but that doesn’t mean every day is rainbows and butterflies. Knowing I have RESCUE in my arsenal truly helps.
RESCUE Pastilles were developed by a doctor, are homeopathic, and are gentle and safe as they are non-habit forming and have no side-effects. RESCUE stress relief products are available now in the US at CVS, Walgreens, Whole Foods, Sprouts and wherever you find natural products! (I found mine at Walgreens in the sleep aid section.)

Sounds right up my alley! My to-do list has just exploded in the past few weeks and there is no end in sight. I think it’s awesome that you’ve found something natural that can help, especially while you’re pregnant! I usually try to hide in the bathroom for some deep breathing when I start to stress out.
