Penny Auctions Canada: Leather Bracelet Review
Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.
Jewelry. I don’t wear it often; but when I do, it must be both attractive and meaningful. I wear my wedding rings every day. Otherwise, I choose my jewelry very carefully based on what event I’m attending or what personal statement I mean to make.
For Valentine’s Day, Aaron bought me a beautiful amethyst and diamond necklace. I reserve this for “fancy” outings like church or a meeting at work. I’ll also wear it when Aaron and I finally get to go out on a date just the two of us.
Earrings happen rarely because Flash is grabby. I’m petrified of having earrings torn out of my ears, so I only generally wear them when I’m trying to look distinguished and dressed up. Again, I’ll probably wear some if Aaron and I get to go out some time soon.
Bracelets are items I rarely wear because I have never found one that really spoke to me. The regular metals ones clang on everything and are annoying. But then I had a chance to try out a bracelet from Penny Auctions Canada, and lo and behold — I like it! Made out of leather, alloy charms, wax linen cord, and suede, the light blue color really works with my coloring and adds just that pop of color to any outfit.
The first time I wore it was to church (fancy), and one of my favorite characteristics of the bracelet was that it has the infinity symbol on it. This symbol means a lot to Aaron and me (admission: we have matching tattoos!), and so whenever I see it I think about us. Now, I can wear it on a regular basis.
It also has an anchor. I love this symbol as well. Aaron has been such an amazing anchor for me as I have moved to the work-at-home mom gig and am at home trying to balance work, kids, the house, and my personal life. I love that this bracelet (even though randomly chosen for me) can have so many meanings.
