Favorite EO Blend: Peel (Flash Giveaway)
I am a Simply Aroma consultant. Ordering through links on this page benefits my sales. Thanks!
You may have read that I’ve been making my own deodorant. I started with Simmer, one of my favorite Simply Aroma blends. Then, once I found out I was pregnant with Baby Diva, I switched to Lavender and Lemon — that one was ok, but it wasn’t my favorite. When Peel came out, I decided to try that in my deodorant. Oh. My. Gracious.
Peel is an amazing blend of citrus oils that includes:
- Grapefruit (Citrus paradisi)
- Lemon (Citrus limon)
- Lime (Citrus aurantifolia)
- Wild Orange (Citrus sinensis)
- Bergamot (Citrus bergamia)
- Tangerine (Citrus reticulata)
- Vanilla Bean (extracted absolute) (Vanilla planifolia)
The blend itself can be used to clean the house (Look at all the citrus oils. Citrus = antiseptic and antimicrobial properties). It can be diffused to clean the air and lift your spirits. You can also use it to make a deodorant or body butter.
I will admit. When I put on my Peel deodorant, I feel like I need to sniff myself constantly. A little too much like Mary Catherine Gallagher, I know.

I’ve been wanting to make my own healthy deodorant for some time. I’m just not sure if it’s strong enough for Florida summers. I look forward to trying this recipe and thanks for the giveaway!
It holds up for me when I run! I definitely sweat, but I don’t have any funky smells. 😉 Thanks for stopping by!
I look at your simple instructions for making your own deodorant and I honestly never knew it was that easy. And I love that you can choose your own favorite EO fragrance to use with the base recipe. I learned something new today!
I have never thought about making my own deodorant! But I have to admit, I have been worried about the ingredients in what I use.
I would love to try cleaning with the Peel!! I bet the smell is AMAZING!!
Still laughing at the Mary Catherine Gallagher reference. LOVE that character!!
Peel is my FAVORITE!
I just don’t know if I could make my own. It seems like such a great idea, but the thought of smelling scares the poo out of me……
What a great idea – I’ve made face masks and hair treatments before but would never have thought to make my own deodorant.
It’s so easy, and it really does work!
That peel scent sounds amazing. I love citrus fragrances like CK One.
I’ve never tried CK One. Peel is definitely outstanding!
How cool is that?! I’ve never heard of DIY deodorant.
