November Poetry: Hidden Blessings
2016
almost over
thank goodness
from hand foot mouth to
stomach virus
MRIs and kidney stones
stress, adulting, and more
2016
almost over
thank goodness
for growing wiser
opening old wounds
healing them with love and hugs
rekindling relationships on the verge of being lost
2016
almost over
an election year
we wish we could forget
anger, bitterness, resentment
on both sides
over now — we move forward
2016
almost over
beneath the ugly
behind the tears
growth
experience
life’s hidden blessings

Personal for you and yet universal as these are sentiments many of us hold. Despite it all, ending in positivity.
Great job. I like the style of this poem. Life definitely has some hidden blessings. Happy Thanksgiving!
Amazing! The last months of 2016. Momentous in so many ways . . .
oh how I agree. 2016 almost over. Man talk about a roller coaster of a year.
