My First Stitch Fix

My First Stitch Fix

I’d seen several friends mention Stitch Fix on Facebook. Mostly, I ignored what they posted because I had too much other stuff to do. For some reason, one of my friend’s posts stuck out to me, and I decided to take a look at the actual Stitch Fix site.

If I spent $20 on my first Stitch Fix box, I’d receive 5 items gathered specifically for me by my stylist. I could fill out a style survey and choose when to have my first box sent.

Easy enough.

I was immediately drawn in by the survey. Come to find out, I’m really pretty boring with my style. I mean, most days, I’m wearing yoga pants and a tshirt. Math Man has been asking me to add some color (he specifically likes me in pink), but finding time to go shopping for myself isn’t the easiest of tasks these days.

Throwing caution to the wind, I went ahead and set up my first shipment.

Stitch Fix suggests that you create a Pinterest board so you can show your stylist the things you like — this made sense to me. So, I went ahead and made a board called Fashion I Like.

Yesterday, I received my first box. Check out how it went here:

What do you think? I chose to send everything back but the cardigan. Did I make the right choice?

  1. Seriously I love watching your stuff! I loved that cardigan too! I liked the necklace but depending on price I probably would have sent it back too. I think you made a great choice!
