Moments of Genius 5: How to Save Money

By working at home, I don’t make as much as I did when I was a full time teacher. I know. That sounds ridiculous. Teachers make jack squat. But, I make less now.
I’m always looking for ways to cut corners and cut spending costs. I discovered one today, and I just have to share with you:
Plan a big birthday celebration for your father who is hitting a monumental age. Then, take your father to breakfast on his birthday, and forget your wallet. See? He’ll have to pay for it, thus saving you the $20 bucks or so for that breakfast. Easy!
Brilliant!
True story. True moment of failure. But, I did save that $20.

LOL! I do this on purpose all the time! My parents never let us pay for anything. Even birthdays. I’ve just given up on even trying!
