Mamavation Monday: Low Energy = Sweet Gorging
Welcome to Monday, fellow Geniuses! I hope you’ve had a great weekend. The Superbowl has come and gone, Beyonce reclaimed her brilliance during the half-time show, and #babyflash had another check-up. We’re at 28 weeks, and other than my horrible back pain and basic pregnancy exhaustion, I’m feeling pretty great.
It’s Mamavation Monday, and this week I overindulged — way too much. Aaron brought home donuts, I had that huge batch of Best Cookies Ever (and ate most of them myself), and there were two birthday parties in my family to attend (and to enjoy with cake and yummy snacky foods).
I am seriously craving sweets right now. It’s all I want. I search for them in the house, and I can’t seem to stop. The scary thing is that it means that I’m not eating as healthy as I should.
My energy is low, and I’ve heard that eating sugary items could be indicative of needing energy (duh, right?). To be honest, today has been a day of pity-partying. I am just so tired. I don’t want #babyflash to be born before he’s ready (goodness – he still has 11+ weeks to cook), but I’m so ready to be able to move again without wincing.
What do you do when you feel low in energy? I know I could exercise to help some endorphins get moving, but what if you can’t move well? I have a reflexologist who is magical, but I can’t get back to her until next week for some relief.
Give me some of your best tips! I’m all ears!
