Mamavation Monday: 3 weeks left (probably less)

Mamavation Monday: 3 weeks left (probably less)

Whooo-wee it was a great week last week. Happy Mamavation Monday, Geniuses!

Last week, my husband and daughter were on Spring Break. I truly love it when they’re home, and we can all play together or just be together. Aaron and I went on our 4th Anniversary Adventure and had a fabulous time — but I outdid myself and was exhausted (and in pain) for about two days after. Walking the mall for multiple hours isn’t the smartest idea for an 8 month pregnant woman!

Otherwise, because of the nature of Spring Break and the laid back days, I wasn’t the most stellar on eating or cleaning or doing much of anything else. Let’s just say, milkshakes and ice cream became my very close friends this past week.

#Babyflash is giving us a run for our money, and we should find out today if he’s turned. If he has, I’ll be ridiculously happy. If he hasn’t, I am going to need to have a conversation with myself. I have major issues not being in control of situations. Knowing that I’ll be at the mercy of a c-section bothers the junk out of me. Even though I know the end result — a happy, healthy baby and mommy — is the most important goal, that doesn’t keep me from being me. So, I’m preparing myself for the need to let go and allow someone else to take care of things.

And while I’m wallowing in my fear, there are some awesome things happening in the world of Mamavation. First of all, tonight we’ll be meeting the Mamavation Mom finalists. I’m excited for each of these five ladies who have created videos, undergone some serious hazing, and have their fingers tightly crossed in hopes that they’ll be the Campaign 16 Moms. Good luck, ladies.

You can join us tonight for Mamavation TV in our Google Hangout.

Then, on April 15th, we’ll have a Twitter party to find out who the next three Mamavation Moms will be. I love Twitter parties! And Mamavation parties are some of my favorites.

Won’t you join us?
