I’m going to give you a bear hug (Review)
My Flash (3) loves to hug. He’s my cuddler, and he’s notorious for caressing my face, laying his head on my shoulder and saying, “I love you, Mommy.” When I had the chance to read and review I’m Going to Give You a Bear Hug!, I just knew Flash would be the kid who would help me. And wouldn’t you know that the whole time I read it to him, he cuddled closer?
I’m Going to Give You a Bear Hug! is a precious picture book with lots of ways that kids can receive an awesome hug. It might be from a bear, a fish or otherwise, but no matter what the child will understand that he is loved and cherished.
Flash loved the book and giggled as we read. A fish hug?! He thought that was the silliest of all.
I could also see this book as a fun way to reinforce learning about the different animals we might encounter. Baby Diva would really enjoy seeing the animals and practicing their sounds and names.
All in all, this book will be a fun addition to our bookshelves and one I am certain my children will request and read on a regular basis.
