Hanger Jack Review
Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.
One thing we can never get enough of around this house is closet space. It seems that we always have something that needs to be hung up or stored away. Our garage is similar. Filled with toys and tools and dog walking items, we end up stacking and double-hanging things to keep them off the floor.
When I received a Hanger Jack (retail $29.99), we talked about where we should put it to get the most use out of it. Since it can fold up when we don’t need it, we considered putting it in the back of our bedroom closet. Aaron thought I might like to use it for making outfit choices. Since I rarely have the opportunity to take the time to make choices on my outfits, I decided that wasn’t the place to put it. The laundry room is way too small, but that would have been another great place to hang it. Luckily, Aaron installed a handy bar across the top of the room a few years ago so I can hang clothes that I don’t want to see wrinkled.
I started thinking about all the time we spend outside and how dirty our little munchkins can get. In the winter, after we’ve played in the snow (I should say snowflakes since it’s so rare an occurrence), we have wet shoes and socks and pants. In the summer, when the kids have run through the sprinkler, we have wet towels and swimsuits.
Aaron hung the Hanger Jack up for me, and I’m really excited about all the potential things we can do with it!
You know when you come in out of the rain and your umbrella is soaked? What do you do with it? Before our Hanger Jack, we just left the umbrella opened on the floor of the garage. Now? Now we can hang it upside down and let it dry without being in our way.
I love the Hanger Jack because we can either leave it out for the purpose of holding whatever needs to be hung up (garden tools, umbrellas, hats, swimsuits), or we can fold it up until the next time.
Folding the Hanger Jack is really easy. You just pull up on the bar from the underside, and it folds down. Voila – out of your way.
The Hanger Jack is 24″ long when extended, holds up to 50 pounds, and is resistant to impact and scratches. As an added bonus, it’s made right here in the USA.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
I would totally put this in my bathroom over the tub so I could dry my unmentionables and also have a place for snow clothes to dry in the winter and swim clothes to dry in the summer!
