Earth Pan by Ozeri (Review)
Since becoming healthier with how we eat, I do a lot more at-home cooking. More specifically, I do a lot more of actual cooking rather than just pulling something out of a package and heating it up.
In this house, we love eggs. One of my favorite breakfasts is to eat two fried eggs. You may recall that Miss Sassy Pants posted about her “Sassy Eggs” recipe.
A good frying pan is really important to us — who wants eggs that get stuck in the pan or don’t cook evenly?
I had a chance to review Ozeri’s Earth Pan. At 10″ and made out of stainless steel, it’s perfect for our daily cooking routines. And, in my ever-present quest to detoxify this house of harmful chemicals and substances, this pan is non-stick but made free of PFOA.
From Ozeri:
Featuring ETERNA — a safe and natural non-stick developed in the USA, the Stainless Steel Earth Pan by Ozeri is the world’s only stainless steel frying pan to achieve non-stick perfection without using PFOA — a harmful chemical used in all traditional cookware. Conventional pans achieve their non-stick performance with the aid of PFOA (PerFluoroOctanoic Acid), which the EPA has classified as a ‘persistent pollutant of the environment. According to the EPA, once ingested PFOA is capable of remaining in people for a very long time, and has been shown to cause developmental and other adverse effects in laboratory animals. With the Stainless Steel Earth Pan’s ETERNA coating, even under high temperatures, no harmful substances are ever released into the environment. This is because the Stainless Steel Earth Pan utilizes a completely safe and environmentally-friendly coating developed in the USA.
Knowing that this pan doesn’t have all of the toxic chemicals that other non-stick pans have makes me not only happy as a consumer but really excited as a mom. I know that I can let Miss Sassy Pants cook all the eggs she wants and not inhale or ingest the nasty pollutants that many other pans contain.
But does it cook well? It does. It cooks evenly and cleans up very easily. (It is recommended that this pan be washed by hand rather than the dishwasher.)
You can find your own Earth Pan by visiting Amazon.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

I got one too and I think it’s great! I cna’t decide which recipe to post with it, yet, though.
Grilled cheese turned out nicely, too!
