Buffalo Chicken Ring

My husband and I are obsessed with all things Buffalo Chicken-related. We get subs, wings, pizzas and more just to satisfy the craving. When I saw this recipe for Crockpot Buffalo Chicken on Pinterest, I knew I had to try it. Can I just say, “Yum!?” But, we had a lot of leftovers (since the kids aren’t so keen on some spicy hot wing sauce), so I decided I’d try something new.

Once upon a time, I was a consultant for Pampered Chef. Before that, I only cared about baking cookies and brownies. With Pampered Chef, though, I learned several short cuts and fun recipes that made me look like a gourmet chef. One of my favorite PC recipes involves the rings.

What better way to solve the issue of our leftovers than to combine them with my other favorite, the Pampered Chef chicken ring.

I had tried before to make a buffalo ring, but something about what I put together wasn’t quite right. This conglomeration was a hit. Hope you enjoy!

First, I used two refrigerated crescent roll packs and laid them out on my stone with the largest part of each triangle overlapping. (Hint: Don’t use the fat free rolls as they tend to be more difficult to work with. Also, wait until you’re completely ready to work with the rolls before taking them out of the refrigerator.)

Once your rolls are placed out, you should use a rolling pin to blend them all together so that it makes one big piece.

Next, use some bleu cheese dressing and pour it onto the ring. (I just made a couple of circles around.)

Then, spoon your buffalo chicken meat. Use as little or as much as you want. My husband always votes for me to put more than I think is necessary!

Then, I used about a cup of cheddar cheese and sprinkled it on top of the chicken.

Next, I squirted another good helping of bleu cheese on top.

When all ingredients are in, you can close up your ring. To do this design, simply choose your starting place. Fold each tip over and continue in one direction until all pieces are folded over.

Bake this at 350 for about 25 minutes. Then, use a pizza cutter to slice it up!

Yum. Aaron says this needs to be a regular occurrence!
