Blessings: Funny Friday (Day 10)
Verse to ponder: Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with shouts of joy; then they said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them. Psalm 126:2 ESV
I love to laugh. Love it. In fact, I love it so much that I often crack myself up. It’s one reason my husband fell in love with me, I’m pretty sure — the fact that I can make myself giggle over the dumbest of jokes that no one else gets. My best friends from middle school and I told the most asinine jokes and still – 20 years later – laugh over their stupidity.
That’s why I love that Funny Friday – a linkup I do with other bloggers – falls right in the middle of my Lenten series. It’s a perfect chance to laugh with my virtual friends and spread the funny.
Each month one of the participants submits a picture, then we all write 5 captions or thoughts inspired by that month’s picture. Links to the other bloggers’ posts are below, click on them and see what they’ve come up with. I hope we bring a smile to your face as you start your weekend.
Here’s today’s picture. It was submitted by Sanity Waiting to Happen.
1. I’m pretty sure this is the stairway to heaven.
2. This Stair Climber doesn’t work like the others I’ve tried.
3. I’m going to the attic. I’m just going to the attic. (by Miss Sassy Pants)
4. Cat nip. Nothing will keep me from the cat nip.
5. This looks like somewhere I haven’t barfed yet.

Hahaha! Five is my favorite! Thank you for the giggles! I hope your weekend is great!
Love #2. So much. Happy Friday!
LOVE the “barfed yet”one, and I just adore starting the weekend with a laugh (or lots of them)!
From cat nip to cat barf..?
You know “I’m just going to the attic” reminds me of the chicken that crossed the street. But that’s a whole other story.
So if you like to laugh, you might find my current favorite blonde joke funny:
A blonde woman was speeding down the road in her little red sports car and was pulled over by a woman police officer, who was also a blonde.
The cop asked to see the blonde’s driver’s license. She dug through her purse and was getting progressively more agitated. “What does it look like?” she finally asked.
The policewoman replied, “It’s square and it has your picture on it.”
The driver finally found a square mirror, looked at it and handed it to the policewoman.
“Here it is,” she said.
The blonde officer looked at the mirror, then handed it back saying, “Okay, you can go. I didn’t realize you were a cop.”
Love the Stairway to Heaven reference. My cat, Cali thinks these are great too. And, yes, she does strategic barfing just like your #5 I think it was. lol
Loved the barfing one….sounds like something my old cat would have said….lol
